But thank you anyway for the compliments. I too was trained early to do soldering, and I was repairing tube-powered juke boxes in high school and building my own (short-lived) amps just at the time transistors came in. Didn't take long for them to melt down, especially at volume 11...
My best solder job ever was fixing my Jag ABS control unit which had two cracked solder joints to the incoming power, thus saving myself $1000+ over the price of an "overhauled" unit.
