I can't tell for sure if this was shown at a car club, but definitely there is a hot rod community that builds custom cars with the exterior as weathered and rusted as possible while the interior and underlying mechanics are chrome and fully blown nitros ...

entirely. The "patina car" is a correct term. Please google the images. Patina car is any car with the emphasis on the outter exterior being faded, rusted, etc etc. The emphasis is on the body, note the engine is not usually important for the looks of the...
