The car renting I cannot comment, as we drove to Turkey in the car already. Unfortunately the import duties are exceedingly high on higher hp /
Displacement vehicles, so renting something fun locally might be a challenge or at least very expensive.
At the same time I would not worry about driving, navigating and the rules of the road. They are relatively similar to other places. There is heavier traffic in and around Istanbul and Ankara but the rest was fairly deserted, and overtaking is easy.
The locals sport a very relaxed driving style and most are cooperative and none aggressive.
Can highly recommend giving it a try 👌🏻👍🏻

That a car more surprising gets more of the positive kind of attention and support. There are quite some, touring the world in old Porsches and Corvettes - not your primary choice from a practicality point of view 😁

Never been to Turkey and have no idea that it snows there. The pictures are totally awesome, the beautiful sceneries and the food👍🏻👍🏻.
It would work with the Volvo, too…
