Electrics !
When I had my Bimota from 1997 till 2001 I had lots of electrical issues.
What do you want anyway I thought ! Italian bike with a Japanese Yamaha engine ... turned out all the electrics came straight from the Yamaha FZR600 as well .. and then trouble with the engine started ... .
Anyway, it was one hell of a bike ! It was so extreme, light and well build, but not easy to ride it fast .. and I rode it extremely fast back in the days .. until I suddenly lost faith in it and sold after it tried to kill me several times.
I do think the main issue concerned the rider anyway
