Agree with you and the worst is cars in bad shape got cosmetic
Restoration and get offered for a lot of money but when you look in the structure it is "lightweight"
The best is to stay away from restored cars and prefer original ones no that fresh because you see the truth.
The R107 ( beautiful green one you have shot) is stil afordable compared to the W113 (Pagoda) but it is i think the last year.
It got so fashionable to have a classic ( and after the lost in trust in banks or shares)seen as n investment ) but i blieve that a lot will lose interest when they realise that they lose confort, safety, performances...nd that you sometimes have to get the hands dirty.
