A Wild Ride
I received this recently released and truly epic book on the entire development process of the Aston Martin Valkyrie. The publisher is a little known independent Belgian company specialized in automotive topics named Waft, and run by Bart Lenaerts and Lies de Mol. Probably the best spent $100 on a book in terms of the value proposition at just under 350 wonderfully designed and information dense pages! These are just some fun images of my AMVOX coupled with chapter title imagery.... Highly recommended, enjoy!

You are definitely right about the wonderfully matched 8 speed auto with the Vanquish's intended purpose of grand touring. The GT V8 is indeed hugely impressive for its own purposeful design intent. Thanks for looking Patrick, cheers, Filip
