A little bit of both
I first saw the color on the Anniversary Club Coupe, where they made 13 examples in Brewster Green. I fell in love with the color and wanted to get it in a 911 WITHOUT a wing. Then the 911R was announced and I was selected for PTS (1/33 in the US). My prayers were answered! There are only 2 Brewster Green 911R in the world. The other one doesn't look as crazy as mine. The other car is in Austria with the owner's last name called "Porsche".
You can't go wrong with such a powerful combo.
I can just picture and hear the sounds of you cruising up PCH. Enjoy.

. . . if Brewster was selected due to the Porsche family's fondness for this color, or if that didn't weigh into the color selection whatsoever. Hoping you can maybe bring this beauty to the next So Cal Spyder drive! Cheers.
