A bit different, a bit crazy...

After owning many Porsches, a few Ferraris and other sports cars, I stumbled into my first Lamborghini a few weeks ago when visitng my local dealer "just to have a look".

I liked the Huracan, but never really enough to buy one.   On display was something quite different, a brand new Huracan Sterrato which was available for sale.

Slightly wider, lifted, skid plates, air intake on the roof, roof rack, fog lights and designed for off road use.   The same V10 power.   Seems crazy but very cool....

Lamborghini's answer I suppose to the Porsche 911 Dakar.

Anyway, it now sits in my garage next to another Italian classic (Vespa) smile

Both the color and the trim 🤘🙂. Definitely curious about your driving impressions when you get around to it. Thanks for sharing the pictures here with us, cheers, Filip

Awesome!

I contemplated this one for a little while. Please let us know what you think of it over sometime of ownership. Might still add one.

Nice choice!

Wonderful choice and your post really raised a smile here. The number of times I have called in at a car dealership “just for a look “ and ended up buying something. Enjoy !

Congratulations!

A great machine! The Huracan is still my favorite car in this category. You've got reliability. A great chassis with double wishbones all around (Porsche 911 uses MacPherson struts). A super emotional engine with a very unique soundtrack. This car is near...

Your comment on blind spot resonates strongly, Patrick.

Whenever I see such cars, I immediately wonder about my blind spot vulnerability…mainly because I have so many pedestrians and bicyclists where I am, so I’ve become a bit OCD about the blind spot.

Oh man. It is definitely not an easy car to drive with pedestrians and cyclists.

Then again, I wouldn't drive these things in town - for me it's only to the track and to the technical roads. I've got my boring Tesla for that!

Utterly ridiculous.......

Huge congratulations 🎉🎊🎈

And would love to see shots of it being used in anger somewhere off road 🤞🏻
