As much as I love the Integrale, I wouldn't dare to buy one. All were very nice and special cars on their own. I was lucky enough to be able to drive them or go as a passenger in all of them. I'm always saying that if I could buy a 91' brand new Golf GTI ... 

most of the guys here renting out work on the car to an innocent guy. LOLOLOL

Even until this moment I am still in love with Lancia Delta HF Evoluzione

But IMO the most fun i had in several Golf II GTI, especially the 16V. Never tried the R5 Turbo. Had a few go's in the 205 both 1,6 and 1,9 and they were also bonkers. The Lancia Integrale was out of this world performance wise. The E30 M3 is really missi... 

.. one of the problems were the gearbox ratios, 50 in first gear, 85 in second and then 140 in third .... so throwing it into third you really had to rev the nuts out of it in second ... unless you had the engine modified. I really loved the Corrado .. st... 

the G60 needed more torque and power but oh so many compressors wore out pretty quick.

Or the 190 E 2,3-16 .. yes it was an engine developed by cosworth. That was a car with style and the driving was sporty but still very Mercedes, i really liked it so it remains one of my favorite cars that could (and still can) handle the everyday job a c... 

Actually these two were the most iconic small cars of the eighties.

My two favorites are the VW Golf GTI and the Renault 5 Turbo. My father had the “normal” versions of the two. Great memories! Thanks for bringing them back! Best. René
