Hi all, Really really over the moon on this one! Just picked up the new split second GMT concept, an incredible piece I\'ve been savoring for a while. To be frank, following the release of the Black Panther I was hopeful to see new models in the new case ...

I recall you reviewed a 44mm concept in the past - oddly, the GMT Split has a thickness of 17mm and the GMT Tourbillon is at 16mm and change - yet the Split feels much more wearable. Must be the shorter lugs and the curved bezel/crystal on the Split vs th...

I’m curious why you went for this one instead of other concept models?

I dabbled with getting the 44mm concept - but I felt the case lugs were too wide, leaving a sizable strap overhang and spacing beyond the wrist. So, after trying the Black Panther I was thrilled to see the possibility of a smaller Concept, and immediately...  

Your 43mm fits perfectly around the wrist👌🏽…plus it is so much better looking than the ceramic pieces, IMHO. This is a technical marvel and beast.

Simply amazing, just love AP on the fringe of design!

And the micro details are outstanding. Love the play of brushed and polished micro surfaces on the case, the different use of materials on the wings and pushers, and of course the skeletonization of the movement. Very reminiscent of the RM011-05 movement ... 

Love seeing it on a wrist that can fit the watch hahaha I tried a different concept on a while ago and definitely did not suit its lug length.

This is the absolute limit for me in terms of wrist presence. As shared earlier, there was a major difference in the profile and fit of this 43mm Split Second Concept vs the 44mm Concept GMT Tourbi vs the 42mm Black Panther. One of the things I love is th...

Behind the nearly surgical and industrial angles is the beauty and comfort of a curved case back and curved bezel and crystal. Just fabulous - and hope they make more Concepts with this design methodology, Cheers Peter

There are very few natural straight lines on the body - so a few curves makes the case more integrated and organic on my Wrist Many thanks, Peter

Congratulations. Very impressive watch. The old style GMT Concept does not follow the wrist very well. Your watch looks great and I assume comfortable. The quick change straps are very practical. Maybe a white strap could look very cool for the summer.

I don't think they have it yet - but there are some pretty unique straps that were included. I don't know the quick change system in the offshores but the system on the Concept is super easy. Just a press of a button for the strap and a flick of a lever f...  

Thank you for the picture, the red and the yellow are nice options and the straps are designed beautifully. The 'quick change' system finally makes strap changes practical.

But huge congratulations Peter! I wish I could have seen it during my recent visit. One of AP"s best new pieces in years. I greatly admire the watches you choose to add. I would happily select them all the same!
