Just 1 favorite? GULP. I can't do it!! (ironically, while most parents say they could never choose a favorite child, I think I could do that very easily!! LOL...)
The tantalum bezeled watch from Monochrome is an old SIncere edition. There were 2 dials offered, the dark one you show and a light one with dark subdials.
My first Offshore was the silver rubberclad in 2001. Shown here from Maui in 2003, perhaps remembered by old timers in these parts as "Basking in the Maui Sun" (it won a contest on thePuristS with a $500 gift certificate from AP).
That is the watch that sunk AP's jaws into my very being. It has been quite a ride since.
How about some other honorable mentions? The very same 25770 I vladded M4 into, shown here after some work in Clearwater to update all rubber to black (it was delivered as dark blue on this model) and change the date shroud to silver (therefore known to some as the Silver Ghost):
OK if I had to choose a single one, Survivor for me. I won't delve deeply into my passion for firearms and knives, but if I could only own one collection, there would be a few nice watches posted for sale. This piece unites 2 of my top interests:
For a regular themes Offshore, you cannot beat this titanium beast:
Jarno Trulli:
A good ole Safari, works with most everything:
Alinghi Polaris... magnificent chronograph made for the task:
And what remains the best automotive themed chronograph by any brand in my book, the titanium RBII:
I have never delved into precious metals on Royal Oak Offshore. If I were to, the white gold Pride of Russia is my top choice. For colored gold, I would search a Don Ramon.
Thanks for a wonderful topic my Friend!
