Congrats! Beautiful watch.
I've been debating between the 15202 and 15450 as well. What size is your wrist, if I might ask? Both the circumference and the flat part of your wrist. I like the Jumbo, but haven't had a chance to try it on. My wrists are on the smaller size, and I thought I'd appreciate its thinness, though perhaps the case and lugs would be too large. The 15450 I have tried on, and it fit quite snugly - though hadn't been adjusted at all. Not sure if more links could've been added, or if the clasp could've been adjusted.
At any rate, I would love to hear about your thought process, and what ultimately made you decide on the 15450!

Finally - AP Royal Oak 15450
This is here, finally...about an hour on my wrist, and I'm already feeling like the thinking, trying, rationalizing, thinking, trying, rationalizing ... (you get the picture) of the last 20 months was worth every bit. Too soon to give you a long term wear...

I always say you should choose the one that talks to you, once it is on your wrist you can not take your eyes off it. Trust me they get even better with more wrist time. Enjoy and wear in the best of health. JerryW

Congratulations to this iconic time piece. I have to say I went through nearly the same thought process with my 15450: I have the same wrist size and I excluded 15400 and 15202 for the same reasons. Enjoy every day with it, next to the also very appealing...

I have a 6 inch wrist and am debating between this and the 15202.. If the 15450 works better for you, I guess it makes it even more of a no-brainer for me! Beautiful piece! Enjoy in good health!!

Hi Richard - Thanks for your quick reply! I just measured my wrist - even smaller than yours. 6.5" in circumference, with the flat part really only 2.5" wide. It seems then really that the 15450 would be the best chance of a good fit.

Nice choice for the silver dial as it is less commonly seen, makes it look so pure and sterile.. I like the last photo where the petit tapasserie dial is in full glory. This one is the ultimate for a leisure weekend at the country club.

Congratulations on your acquisition. Very well judged choice! Kudos to AP for keeping this in the catalogue. Was looking for a 14790 for the longest time but this would arguably be even better.
