Audemars Piguet

This is here, finally...about an hour on my wrist, and I'm already feeling like the thinking, trying, rationalizing, thinking, trying, rationalizing ... (you get the picture) of the last 20 months was worth every bit. Too soon to give you a long term wear...  

I always say you should choose the one that talks to you, once it is on your wrist you can not take your eyes off it. Trust me they get even better with more wrist time. Enjoy and wear in the best of health. JerryW

For me, that was the main criteria. As you've observed, the 15202 is thin, but when I put it on my wrist, there is gap where the bracelet curves off the case on both sides, and it's even more pronounced with the 15400. Tried as I liked, it bothered me a l... 

Congratulations to this iconic time piece. I have to say I went through nearly the same thought process with my 15450: I have the same wrist size and I excluded 15400 and 15202 for the same reasons. Enjoy every day with it, next to the also very appealing... 

I have a 6 inch wrist and am debating between this and the 15202.. If the 15450 works better for you, I guess it makes it even more of a no-brainer for me! Beautiful piece! Enjoy in good health!!

I hope you make your choice soon too :-) It's a struggle, but one that pays off in the end. It's a beautiful watch IMO.

Hi Richard - Thanks for your quick reply! I just measured my wrist - even smaller than yours. 6.5" in circumference, with the flat part really only 2.5" wide. It seems then really that the 15450 would be the best chance of a good fit.

I admire how you went about making your selection. The 15450 is a terrific Royal Oak. I'm sure it will provided extended pleasure on the wrist!

It already is providing immense pleasure, and there's not an ounce of doubt or regret. I am certain this will be one piece that will keep me satisfied and entertained for a long while to come.

Nice choice for the silver dial as it is less commonly seen, makes it look so pure and sterile.. I like the last photo where the petit tapasserie dial is in full glory. This one is the ultimate for a leisure weekend at the country club.

And I do agree with it setting a relaxed and cosy tone, and being able to take the formal stuff in its stride just as well

15450 is another evidence in AP's design brilliance to incorporate the in-house 3120 movement in different sizes of RO case, from 37mm - 41mm, and yet maintaining a perfect balance in each model. The 15450 fits your wrist like a glove! Give it more wrist ...

Congratulations on your acquisition. Very well judged choice! Kudos to AP for keeping this in the catalogue. Was looking for a 14790 for the longest time but this would arguably be even better.
