The AP Metropolis is a great piece
Rare, and underrated IMO. Perpetual calendar with a world time feature, and in an interesting aesthetic...a traditional look, but some flair as well.
Great value if it can be found.
I saw one recently that was quickly snatched up.

The robin escapement in this watch isn't self starting, so shake the watch very gently like a disc on a horizontal plane if the watch doesn't start after winding.

If you put the watch on a soft cloth on the nightstand, you can hear the ticking sound. It's very loud!
