Sure, but a salmon dial has somehow always given an aura of greater exclusivity to the watch, so personally I just don't like it that it's suddenly being overused by brands.

 

Patek, for one, is still trying to preserve this special "status of the salmon" (or so I believe, we'll see in a few weeks...), which I appreciate. On its beauty, of course, no discussion -- aesthetically I have no problem to put it pretty much on the same level as the blue.
