I'm sure even he didn't know at the time what effect his design would have on the large luxury sport watch market and on AP specifically.

The original Royal Oak Offshore in the early 1990's... Emmanuel Gueit. While chatting, he said he noticed the AP on my wrist, and later told me he designed the modern Jules Audemars as well... Very very cool......
