Audemars Piguet

In the same boat

I have a similar story to share.

I bought a new ROO FC from an AD in Paris when I was there for a vacation in Dec.This was the watch I've been eyeing for some time, especially encouraged from some of the wrist shots posted in the forum. Somehow, I didnt get to see it in the flesh whenever I visited the dealers in Singapore. Thus, when I chanced upon it while walking along Rue St Honore, I grabbed it immediately.

This is my favourite weekend watch and I will keep it on a winder otherwise. By Feb, I'm beginning to suspect that it was not keeping time properly. I then started to diligently keep track whenever I swapped it on the winder. True enough, it was fast by around 3 minutes every week.

I sent it to the servicing center and had the same response....etc etc 10 weeks....... I would say that it is a disappointingly long time especially since all the trained staff and tools are in Singapore. I do understand the fact that quality issues can happen to the best of brands. However, 10 weeks to put it right is way too much for a 3 month old watch, and an AP at that.
