We have two AP-RO's here (his and hers) and I cannot agree more about the AP service network.  Here in the USA, the Clearwater, FL folks are fabulous.  The friendly service personnel and great work are really appreciated.

We have Rolex Oysters as well, and the factory service out of NYC was great in the past.  I'm not sure where they might send the watches these days.

The ONE TIME I let an independent service my Air King it was a disaster.  First, the dial was clearly smudged, which they had to fix before I would accept the watch back.  Then a week or two later, the rotor started banging into the case back.  And THIS was from a "factory-trained" authorized Rolex AD!  Never again!

All the best...  HEO

A long time ago, I traded 3 watches to get this RO dual time from my godpa. It was in a bad state when I got it - screws were aligned wrongly, evidence of a third-party service. While the lady answering the calls at the service centre in Singapore was a s...

In hindsight it was worth it

The screw at 11 o clock, at the bottom, already nicked or just the reflection of light? Looks great. How is the bracelet, no stretch? Does AP offer a new bracelet as well if needed and bezel?

So far, no dings on this piece (i hope it never happens), but some observations: 1) The gold bezel catches hairline scratches quite easily 2) The gold oxidises a little to a reddish hue when I don’t wear it for a long time. A little toothpaste removes it....
