Being like everyone else and having what everyone else has is something I used to aspire toward when I was much younger. I now like to express my individuality with pieces like the 25807ST. For those who know. ☺️

I must be maturing as 38mm seems to be the sweetspot. Hopefully my watch fund matures soon too!!

Love the complication!

It’s has the flavor of BOTH a royal oak and an offshore with a blue dial and complication. If it was a production watch today, we know how much these would be going for. ☺️

Should have the GF stamp. I think most sellers don’t even know about the GF stamp. A collected man article ...

The petite tapissary dial would have been cut on a pantograph. We mostly see mega on offshores.

Make it in Ti with some kind of micro adjustment for the bracelet, and it would be perfect! Never seen one in the flesh, but my only comment based on pictures is the size of the seconds subdial, looks a bit small. Enjoy it!

Would be too big for this dial it made bigger. The symmetry is is a big part of this model. I hear you on the changes for a production model. Having said that, part of the charm of this model is that it’s neo-vintage and has certain things about it that a...

I would say that’s it quirky cool when so many offshores started to look alike. This one stands proud of its quirkiness. ☺️ I had the offshore Polaris and sold it last year. Just didn’t fit in with my desire for quiet luxury. More subtle.

I really love the gold variants with those square indices. Before buying mine years ago, I was just about to purchase the equivalent to yours in white gold, but it never happened.

Yours more macho and sporty. Mine a bit more “dressy” … Both lovely in their own way.

On certain brands and then deep dive in. AP, GP and Minerva. Else, too many distractions as you say. 😅

But I actually am enjoying more the annual calendar complication on a rugged sports model. This and the perpetual offshore really must have shocked a lot of traditional collectors at the time of launch 30 years ago. Nice to see Patek and VC following more... 

This 25807ST is kinda rugged … so it’s a cool thing to have the JLC annual calendar on a more discreet sized offshore. It was launched at a time when “big is better”. We seem trending turning to 38 mm again. So it would not surprise me to see the offshore...
