I agree that limited editions
do offer greater variety and i agree that a limited ed may produce a variation of the RO that results in somebody buying one who otherwise wouldn't. But wouldn't it be better if AP allowed customers to choose their own variation/ dial without it being limited? i.e. if you had a range of 6 or so dials of the scuba range always on offer? so if you like the orange dial it is always available to you or if you like the black dial it too is always available? I personally think that AP could give the benefit of variations of the RO LEs offer without the restrictions of the LE model. Rolex offer a range of dial options on several of their models and I think it works very well.
