That is plausible what you mention about one-offs. I know back in those days when AP was probably 200 employees total, they had a bigger connection to client special requests. It is possible that Phillips Bacs & Russo are correct. But I'm skeptical with the watch blogs in general.

You correct me -- between you and Blomman is all the history of GP. I did not keep my resources about the two GPs that I found about. I'll try to look for it again tonight. But you are probably right that they were WG.

I love the 25820SP. The black dial is really beautiful and the SS/Pt combination is great. The case diameter of 39 mm is also better than the 41 mm of the current model, IMO. Best, Volker

The case size is just visually perfect for my wrist. I will visit the AP boutique to resize the bracelet and then we will see how it sits on my wrist with the true fit. -joe

It is a very good looking watch and enjoyable to admire, which I know you can relate with your handsome blue dial one.
You can try to do it yourself if you have a small flat screwdriver.
The links can be removed with ease. I removed one of the links in the Jumbo - the watch sits brilliantly.
Let me check if my smallest flat screwdriver fits
I tried it with the Nautilus a few months back but the screwdriver was too big. I might just order the watch screwdriver kit over Amazon. Thanks!
