AP Royal Oak Offshore forged carbon
Hi, I’m seriously 😐 considering this piece but have a couple of concerns. Does anyone know how sharp the case bevel is supposed to be? Compared to my mint 15300st’s very sharp original finish this one seems a bit dull. The lug to strap area particularly. Is this normal? I’ve never seen a new condition piece so I’d like the benefit of a more knowledgeable frame of reference.
The forged carbon is appealing to me as is the overall look 👀 
I was impressed with the fit for a 44mm
but maybe I’m being a bit optimistic for my 17.4cm wrist 🤔 so would welcome any opinions on the fit

Thanks! Based on some photos I just saw of the offshores, it seems the bezel is a bit different than the standard royal oak, and perhaps the smaller distance is expected. Great looking watch!
Looks correct
The bezel should be the “satin finish” which looks correct. I personally love this size and it’s very wearable on a smaller wrist. I don’t have a large wrist but love big watches and this one is brilliant. Great choice. ...

Bezel is ceramic, not carbon, hence the different finish. Forged carbon isn't as hard or dense a material so the bezels and lines on the case aren't going to be as sharp as a metal or ceramic case
Forged carbon is not very abrasion or scratch resistant compared to ceramic or metal so those will be better choices if you want to have and keep those sharp RO case creases. Where forged carbon wins is that it is structurally strong and light so if those...

I wore a FC for about 2 years as a daily driver
I still think it's the best looking 44mm ROO because of the contrast between the case and bezel, and the other bits. Very comfortable, very light. My case looked pristine during that time.
