actually TBH, there is another RO 15202 model that is high on my list and even more exclusive: the Hour Glass yellow gold/green dial made of 50. Perhaps have to wait until I’m older and can pull off the all yellow gold look. 🤔. We should both get one, obviously used though. It can be your son’s 10th or 12th birthday watch. 😉

I will let go the QEII. I got it from the bank safe a couple of days ago and am wearing it right now but I have come to the conclusion that it is too bold for me. The 15202 is just a different league.

Stating that from a distance, nobody would know it is different. I entirely disagree. Anyone that knows Audemars Piguet will spot the exceptional bezel immediately.

I don't know. I have heard the same thing for years about the steel model.
And mine continues to look brand new. You either hit your watches against thing or you don't, I am more in the 2nd camp. 250 is quite rare, and they don't make many variations of this reference. I love it.
Agree, my .02 is that the thin profile of the watch really reduces potential for scratches
I’ve been wearing my AP 25820SP which also has the platinum bezel for about 75% of the past 6 months. It’s a slightly thicker watch than this 15202IP since mine is a perpetual calendar but I’ve had no problems with scratches. Obviously I don’t wear the AP...
