Was on my wish list since one decade. With the price increasing I abandoned this project.

I don't think the price has moved since I bought it, which was the same when it launched.
It is an expensive watch any way we consider it, but for me the pleasure it gives me is worth much more than I paid.
I don't mean to be dramatic w/the title.
I just did not know a better way to state it

It's a truely great watch. I find there is difference between watches you admire and watches you would wear to death. This is one of the latter.

Very beautiful, very cool with the "NO seconds hand", very close to its root model.

Close for sure, but those are in a different league.
This works great for me, a watch I can wear every day with so much heart of the earlier models.
This is what makes this passion so very cool.
A simple watch means more than any complicated piece you've possessed. For another it might be a Perpetual or a Rattrapante. For another a three-hander. The variations are endless. Good that you found this one and have it.

Over the years I have acquired some cool watches but I alway gravitate back to my 15202. It just works for all occasions and is easy to wear.

The most important thing is how it makes you feel. Forget price, complications, brands, etc... As long as it puts a smile on your face.
I feel the same way...
...but about my 15400, I love the 15202 and it's connection to the first Royal Oak but the 15400 was the better choice for me. Still, I love looking at the 15202 and I'm glad my watch has some of the same DNA. Enjoy!
