don't like the word"automatic" on dial, no second hand, prefer window for leap yr indicator

Then buy a PP 5140. If you get bored with your watch or you simply need some cash, this alternative is better than AP. Just check how much the second hand watches are costing. On possibility is to wait for perpetual Nautilus if you want a sporting perpetu...

So in a roundabout way I'm saving you money as the skeleton costs more, so the one you have your eye on is saving you money Or to actually save you some money have you seen the new JLC 8 day perpetual..? Go with the AP though Andy.

Stay out. Having said that, AP raising prices 1sep, I am being told by my AD. But even then, we could possibly go back to the double digit, the first digit not being 1 or 2 or even 3 type of discount structure, experienced during Lehmans crisis. Best, Hor... 

The Royal Oak perpetual calendar is one of my favorite AP's, so IMO you should definitely get one if you like it. The RG version looks great with the darker dial. But I'm also going to agree with amanico that you should look at the AP RO perpetual skeleto...
