Your Photos

Hi Stephen,

I must admit that it has been your shots of the RL in PT that initially brought the RL to my attention a couple years ago. Both the RG and PT versions have so much soul and elegance to them while retaining the Lange DNA. Aside from your 'King' in the PLM, I would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful 3-hand watch.

Oliver posted a detailed write-up comparing the models in the RL family as well a while back and this gave a lot of insight into the subtle complexities of the Richard Lange family. Clearly there is a large amount of interest in the chronometric line as you said Stephen.

As I mentioned previously, I have only had encounters with the RG in my AD and can only rely on yours and other photos of the PT version. Maybe a weekend trip to NY when the weather warms a bit.

One question to you however, in your pictures the dial sometimes appears almost slate - grey or beige. Is this a trick of the light, or is the dial a different material in the RG vs the PT?

Thank you for your wonderful pictures, your PT collection is a marvel (especially that new twirling Meister)

Best,

Colton
