On the contrary the strap accentuate the feature of the dial I find. You can use this nato for a more colorful combo and the blue alligator for a more suttle look! Both works I think!

The strap might look like the natural fit but
it distracts too much from the watch? 🤔 With the blue alligator the dial has got more presence, I think.
Great companion Tony and thanks for the kind words! I never thought i would miss wearing suits by working a lot from home but when i go the office its fun to try to match the watch with the suit :-)!
The fact your sea-dweller has no cyclops for the date changes the looks quite a bit! Very cool!
Mark XV looks great!
I owned a Mark XVI for years, but traded it away. The purists love the XII, but I've started to wonder if maybe the XV is the pick of the litter.
My First Good Mechanical
Purchased new some 20+ years ago, and always given good service. For certain there was some fuss when IWC changed to the ETA base over the JLC in the Mark XII.
