Mate, I think Lange is a bit different.

I'm not sure how you're wired, but I've been following you for awhile now on the forum and (correct if I'm mistakened) I assume you cherry pick 1-2 from various brands you're interested in and that forms the bulk of your collection. I think when it comes to assessing Lange, their history must be factored in. Example when the Lange 1 was first made, its design ethos was considered to be somewhat groundbreaking, and also breathtaking. It changed the way we look at dress watches and also the much hated date window for purists who wish for time only (HMS) watches. The datograph -- I guess that one needs no introduction. So I guess, if you judge the watch purely basis its technical and aesthetic merits, maybe there are more interesting watches out there today. But put them within the context of time, they become much more special. I also feel that Lange needs to be appreciated as a group of watches collectively, instead of just individually.

All you need to do is flip out the ALS watch in your collection and enjoy it. My L1 with a new “suit” — kind of a special grey gator with baby blue stitch: Of course...forgive the intrusion, I am still honeymooning with my Db25, so will never hesitate to ...

Enjoy your nice pieces. Like the new strap. PS about Lange. For me personally it was the watch the have, after I've been away from watch collecting for a period of more than 10 years. The first watch I bought in 2019 after that long 10 years was... a Lang...
Thank you G!

The moon phase is nice, but I much prefer the “base” Lange 1 that just somehow feels a bit more pure, if you get what I mean.
Beautiful combination

Lange makes beautiful watches to a stupidly high level of execution, but they tend to look very serious and so understated that they almost need to be "jazzed up" a bit. You've managed it with this combination, withot going overboard. I'd be very happy wi...
That combo is so good!!!
