There is not a particular significance played in German watch history when it comes to alarm watches. Thus it would not be a hark to history for Lange to come out with an alarm watch. Besides, there are other more historically significant complications that they can debut before the alarm watch.
You say that no brand has managed to perfect the alarm watch; but Ulysse Nardin and Jaeger-leCoultre make very good alarm watches.
I could be wrong Fred, but I don't believe Lange has an alarm watch high on their priority list.
