Agreed, but...
For all the more that i ike these wonderful classics, they never gave me the feeling of supreme quality that you get from holding a Lange.
The movements, the cases, the dials, the straps, the buckles, the feel, the finishings, etc. can't compare with Lange, objectively. They are very much to be respected, but they remain industrial mass-produced items.
Volkswagen vs. Maybach.
Industry vs. Art.
Honestly, i can't figure a morning where i'd prefer to strap on a JLC instead of a Lange.
So, even though i respect JLC for its unbeatable historical achievements on that ground, i crave for an alarm watch at Lange level.

That the Zeitzone cheapens the brand? It is also a "less noble" complication offered as a different solution from what others had done before, and with the Lange DNA. Fine for me.

The alarm is an especification (Untermerkmal ¿?) for tool watches. I think Lange is another thing, is much more.
