Of course, that is a more NOBLE complication and i would love that! BUT an alarm is a totally different story in terms of everyday practicity. And i feel that there is plenty of room to develop an alarm movement at the level of creativity and quality that... 

That the Zeitzone cheapens the brand? It is also a "less noble" complication offered as a different solution from what others had done before, and with the Lange DNA. Fine for me.

It is a complex complication... if you propose an innovative and a different solution, why do you think it would "cheapen" the brand? Didn't have this feeling with UN and HW! Fx

The alarm is an especification (Untermerkmal ¿?) for tool watches. I think Lange is another thing, is much more.

doesn t cheapen but enrich the brand. certainly the striking Zeitwerk was a faux pas,so Lange shot already itself ion the foot with that first step into ding dong watches. Maybe a very clever alarm would have been a better first step,dont you think? Mo

The two models that you mention are not for everyone on the ground of aesthetics, you must agree. I have not heard them, and for all the wonderful that they may sound, for all the intelligent complications that they include, not many would love to have th... 

You have to look at (and of course hear) the memovox and reveil range of models that Jaeger has , to appreciate the pitch, tone and loudness of the alarm, not to forget that the duration of the alarm is almost 30 seconds. To top it, the designs are unders... 

For all the more that i ike these wonderful classics, they never gave me the feeling of supreme quality that you get from holding a Lange. The movements, the cases, the dials, the straps, the buckles, the feel, the finishings, etc. can't compare with Lang...

The watches you're speaking about. Then you come back, and you elaborate, with some comparison pictures, and a demonstration. We can discuss in an endless way, to, finally, say nothing, and you can't hide behind an " IMO " to say everything, and... Nothii... 

You can also do the same. I'm only referring to quality of the finishing (la finition), the overall feel, not technicity. I love Jeager for many things, but each model i've examined has failed to produce the impression of superior quality that i expected....

First of all, everybody would agree that there is no complication in the world with a definitive answer. That's the purpose of watchmaking: every brand wishes to bring its skills, its inovation to go a bit further. Having said that, I do believe that the ... 

It is a question of taste. But these hands are at least different from the hands seen thousands of times, they contribute to the daring style of the watch, to its personality... and they preserve the legibility of the dial. For me, I can't imagine the Son... 

The "perfect" alarm is a very difficult bird to create. It should incoporate the best of the existing solutions, and combine them in something elegant, both technically (an elegant solution) and aesthetically (an elegant watch)... Last but not least, bein... 

There is not a particular significance played in German watch history when it comes to alarm watches. Thus it would not be a hark to history for Lange to come out with an alarm watch. Besides, there are other more historically significant complications th...

Glashutte has something more to offer. The senator calendar offers not only an alarm but one that can be set in advance for unto 31 days. A manufacture movement too. Regds
