If money is not an issue, Lange 1 hands down.

Well, even with money as an issue, still the Lange 1.
Since if money is a non-issue, would get both.

Lange 1 vs Panoreserve
By: ChetBaker : August 7th, 2020-00:31
Can someone point me to a detailed comparison of these two watches and their movement finishing in particular? Before I pull the trigger on either one, I would like a better idea of how much of the cost difference results from higher level of finishing on...

IMHO Lange is better finish, in addition

Lange has clear perfect design language, character and harmony VS GO which sometimes confusing as if it is a mixed of different characters and aesthetics

I have no experience of the Panoreserve, so I can't really compare. But I find the Lange 1 absolutely mesmerizing both from the dialside and the movementside. I am sure you will not regret that choise, if that is what you end up with. ...
Lange 1 without a doubt

I'm not aware of direct comparisons out there because it isn't very comparable. It is known ALS would have much better finishing. And one thing for sure ALS will also hold its value better (assuming you're not paying a premium to obtain yours).
Lange is ahead and generally has an unmistakably more beautiful finish

Lange und Söhne combines several finishing techniques which are often done by hand (in this case the Panoreserve too) But, in the town of Glashütte the rule is excellency first, any watch produced in Glashütte is a representative of the Glashütte’s spirit...

Long ago I saw some incredible macros of the GO. Under the that scrutiny, it was undeniable. The Lange all-day-long.
I should clarify

I think the GO is still amazing. You are the only one that can decide on the value. But I assure you from what I saw there's a difference.
I can't offer a side by side comparison

As I don't own a GO. However, as a Lange owner, I have absolutely no regrets. The level of finish on the movement is truly superb. Would purchase again in a hearbeat
I used to look at them side-by-side frequently...

From about 2000-2006, I worked very near an AD who sold both Lange and GO. I frequently looked at the two brands side by side. I never owned a GO but briefly considered getting a PanoRetroGraph. I always preferred Lange because GO, while very nice by itse...
