I think Lange has done quite well.
Compared with any other brands, Lange is the only one to treat watches at different price range with the same finish. To me, it's very important, because it shows the brand cares everyone.
For a 3 hands watch with sax-o-mat, Lange made limited numbers during WW. I don't quite remember the price, but I think I regarded the price as fair at that moment.
The movement used to be used in saxsony, 1815, and the anniversary edition, which are all long time ago. I believe Lange did not spend as much as today on advertising and events for the medias. Cost is sensitive now. At the same time, Lange has been releasing many complicated watches in recent years, which is also quite costly. Watches with fair profit is important in making commercial decision.
I agree with you that as a watch lover of Lange, I hope there are as many as possible good watches with economic price.

The new Lange 1
has a thinner bezel and therefore wears slightly bigger and feels more modern. I know many here prefer the old version, but I personally would go for the new one for these reasons. Anyway, it\'s an important point to consider when selecting the right one....
I tend to agree dial side...
But I much prefer the movement of the old one... the presence of the bridges makes me 3/4 plate less "uniform". Thanks for your comments. Fx

Some wonderful pieces there. For some reason though I have never been a huge fan of how Lange does their rotors on the automatic pieces...think it may just be me though!

It was the 308.047, LE of 25, made 2013-14 and priced at 34,600 USD...

You have to remember that the Saxonia Moonphase is very reasonably-priced, with two complications.
And the new 37mm Saxonia is probably below-market for brand and gold factors. Lange has taken some steps to move away from the "financial ratios", or "multiples" with these new models, at least.

I, too, am always mesmerized when viewing the Double Split. I also prefer the Roman numerals but some prefer the stick markers. All are beautiful pieces though. Thanks for sharing your report and photos!
