for this fantastic report! I think the Langematik Perpetual with black dial is my grail watch! The 1815 also came out very nicely on your fotos. Thanks to your help on this forum it has also been my entry to the Lange world. It\'s a beauty and a keeper.

are more and more bringing my attention on this brand. After my failed attempt with the chronos due to their weight (Datograph Pt then 1815 WG), I am more and more considering the option of plunging for a Lange 1. But with all possible versions, it is a c...

Anyway, you can't be wrong with a Lange One!

has a thinner bezel and therefore wears slightly bigger and feels more modern. I know many here prefer the old version, but I personally would go for the new one for these reasons. Anyway, it\'s an important point to consider when selecting the right one.... 

But I much prefer the movement of the old one... the presence of the bridges makes me 3/4 plate less "uniform". Thanks for your comments. Fx

Some wonderful pieces there. For some reason though I have never been a huge fan of how Lange does their rotors on the automatic pieces...think it may just be me though!

For picture and everything

Is that ALS feels it will not be economical to make a simple watch with complicated movement, according to a chat with Frank (the former manager for Asia) during Watches and Wonders in Hong Kong.

But after all, there were before simple watches with this movement. So why it is not possible now? I also know very well the answer but at one time, I expect from a high end brand to be a bit less driven by financial ratios. Of course they are important b... 

Compared with any other brands, Lange is the only one to treat watches at different price range with the same finish. To me, it\'s very important, because it shows the brand cares everyone. For a 3 hands watch with sax-o-mat, Lange made limited numbers du... 

But I don't remember the price! Fx ...

And the new 37mm Saxonia is probably below-market for brand and gold factors. Lange has taken some steps to move away from the "financial ratios", or "multiples" with these new models, at least.

and the frustrating thing is that it would be an \'extra\' watch as it is to thick to be a daily wear. :-(

I, too, am always mesmerized when viewing the Double Split. I also prefer the Roman numerals but some prefer the stick markers. All are beautiful pieces though. Thanks for sharing your report and photos!
