Standard-production Zeitwerks (and Datographs, etc.) were never bundled, to the best of my knowledge.
This is true for most standard-production Lange models (but not the Odysseus line and certain other, more complicated pieces). There was some confusion about this in recent years, perhaps because Zeitwerks (and Datographs) were rarely seen in many boutiqu...
I thought for a while you had to buy a smaller piece
Like a Lange 1 before you were allowed to buy a more complicated piece like a Zeitwerk. Maybe those rules were short lived.
I think that was a (totally understandable) widespread misunderstanding/rumor a few years ago.
It was very confusing! This describes Lange's then-new sales model in 2021, in detail. Many of us were conflating "pre-sale" pieces like the ZW and Datograph (which never required any prior purchase) with "application" pieces like the steel Odysseus Datom...

when i picked up my zeitwerk date last friday the boutique manager told me that the platinum limited edition models were already sold out. well done to get both!
