Hypothetical vs Real
In my eyes, the Tourbograph perpetual is a 'We did it because we COULD' type of watch, while the 1815 RPC is a watch that can be feasibly worn daily and enjoyed as such. I have had the RG 1815 RPC on my wrist before, and absolutely loved it.
I would keep the one you have, and perhaps seek out an original PLM with the open tourbillon escapement.. then you have the Lange tourbillon checked, but still the elegance of the 1815 RPC.

Don't do it. You have an incredible timepiece and a classical grand complication that is not lacking in any aspect. There is no ultimate watch. And more complicated doesn't mean more enjoyment in the long term.

You are luckily in that position, where a lot people would love to be also. Don't care about resale value and such things: The watch is near perfect, the deal has not to be. Both are different enough to keep the RG version, too. Best Moritz
Buy a Dato perpetual or a 1815 Tourby
