My favorite would still be the white gold and black dial version. I find the “austere” look to be most befitting of “German engineering”. Am somehow drawn to white metals when it come to Lange. I own the dufourgraph, but felt that if given the opportunity earlier I would love to acquire the platinum version too. I have bought the 1815 chrono in white gold/back dial to fill that void.

The 1815 Chronograph is in a class of its own. Between the two variants, my vote is for the white gold. But throw the first generation rose gold into the mix, and I'll give a different answer....
