I find the new central rotor movement to be boring and, with its gold plated rotor, a little too compromised for a Lange. Without chatons a full bridge movement is also rather boring. The Saxonia range struck me as accountant driven, except the Thin, which was the pick.
Striking time was disappointing and ugly. They need a proper MR. It's not like they are new technology; just build one.
What they really need, maybe, is something to refresh the Lange 1 and Datograph lines.

What Lange has achieved in a decade is truly amazing. If we put pressure on them to impress us every year, then they will not be able to follow up with consistent quality. Remember the size and output of that relatively new and small company... Let's be p...

I fully agree with you: the small rotor is more elegant
...But it is perhaps less efficient (let's'be frank: the laws of physics are here). The balance between aesthetics and utility is very delicate. Lange so far, with limited power reserves for example, has privileged accuracy and reliability and looks. Now ...
