Initially I was so in love with the Zeitwerk. At that point I'd only seen photos and read extensive reviews, but never actually tried it on (or any other Lange). So I went to an AD with full intentions to buy one, but it just didn't feel right on my wrist. I also tried on a Datograph. Same problem. Very disappointing. I didn't even think about another Lange reference because, to me, at that time the Zeitwerk and Dato were *the* Langes to own. But I couldn't stay away because the Lange build quality and level of craftsmanship were so compelling. Eventually I warmed up to the 1815 chrono, which is really just a Datograph without the date. They look virtually identical from the back. To me, the 3rd generation 1815 chrono boutique edition is the most perfected and eye pleasing of the 1815 chrono run. After owning it for a couple of months I'm very pleased with it and I'm glad that I took the time to find the right Lange for me. And I'm very happy to finally have a Lange in the collection.
