I just read about Nicolas' experience with Antiquorum, a (so-called) 'renowned' auction house who--in my perspective--STOLE Nicolas' watch from him a second time. Please be sure to read the original post -- describing our DEAR FRIEND'S HORRIBLE experience...
An easy start:
is to vote with our feet and never buy from them anymore. Also advise friends against buying from them. I wonder how they are still in business after all the bad stories around their name
There is a suspicion of a crime. Antiquorum should have reported that to the police.
Report the auction house to the police for allegedly aiding a crime. Only the police are able to obtain the alleged criminal's details from the auction house.

Nicolas has done everything he can with Antiquorum and the police in several jurisdictions. Others of us have written on his behalf to various outlets. Nothing more is to be done.

There is one for sale on the European Watch Company with an archive certificate. Might be worth checking the number. The only reason I mention it is because it has archive papers.
