JOW, i have the same preference as u for the white dialed Explorer II.
I do not have the watch, but i consider it to acquire.

I know many watch fans loves black dialed watches.

My preference for shiny objects comes with the light that can blink.

Back to Rolex. Why the explorer II is for me one of the first choice Rolexes.
The case have a nicer shape dan say a date just.
The price is not as crazy as the popular submariner.
42mm is perfect for my wrist.
😀Not a flutted bassel. The Omega Globemaster flutted basel is ok for me.

The sub 116610LV is also a peace i have my eyes on. Watch it’s price curves.

If you see these two white dials side by side you can really see the difference in white tones...see for yourself: Sky white versus polar white, which one do you prefer? ...

Definitely Sky

The Sky-White is leading 2-1

Because i want a watch with an enamel or grand fue white dial. But the Sky isn’t bad either. Champagne kind of silver/white dials i like, but own a good champagne dialed watch, an enamel and a grand fue white i do not have.

It is a first for me as well, I loved the older Explorer Polar,

Had it, sold it, regretted it and decided to buy the new Explorer as long as it was white.

The moniker JOW is more a wish than reality😬

I have tried, believe me I have tried to limit my collection to just one, but there are always new models coming out or older models I have a weak spot for, like amanico’s GMT Master, if only...

Both are cool..

Imho, both dials are unique, handsome, and different in their own way(s). I could easily see both pieces in a collection.

That’s what I think as well, although the

White of the Sky-Dweller can change depending on lighting from the sun or lamps, so I have a little preference for that one

Skywhite 100%

in this dialog but since we are on Rolex dial color I wonder what is the correct name of the white tone on Rolex Cellini Moonphase? I have tried to find it on Rolex website as well as at a Rolex dealer but have failed everywere so what to do but turn to y...

Celestial white...?

I really have no idea Pelle and in all honesty, I believe that sky white and polar white are made up by Rolex fans and not official colours as far as I know.

Many thanks

Having trouble getting past the mismatched white on the Sky Dweller GMT ring.

 By: Modernahab : January 11th, 2021-14:23
I'd like it better if the ring either matched the dial hue or had a deliberately contrasted background color. (Blue? Gray?) All of which is to say that, as executed, I prefer the more harmonious dial on the Explorer II.

2 great white dials. SkyD for me 👍

They are both nice but my wrist cannot carry them.

When it comes to the dial, I prefer the Sky Dweller. Mind you, the white of Explorer suits its original design as a tool watch in the wild.

I prefer the explorer!

Love the gmt hand.

Two Classics

Love them both. The Polar gets my vote because it is strikingly white, yes even like snow, and this is what attracted me to the model.
