Excellent point...

I never had a Chopard L.U.C 1860 on my wrist for more than two minutes. I tried one on in Shanghai back in February this year. So I couldn't get an accurate sense of the watch. But I agree, it's a beautiful watch in the three-hand category with a nice movement, at a very reasonable price. If I had a perfect comparison; the Chopard would be added in.
I've had more experience with the Lange, Patek, and Vacheron three-hand timepieces. Just too limited with that Chopard. By the way, Chopard does do their pin buckles rather well!
Hmm, if the Chopard were included, that'd make a very interesting comparison. The Tonda is bigger and more modern and has a much wider strap. The Chopard is a little small and delicate, strap is downright narrow compared to the Tonda's. But I really like the Chopard movement, the anglage is more pronounced than the PF-702's. Hmm, I wonder which one would win.
Hmm, you got me thinking now! And I still really like the Lange 1815 in 40mm and the VC Patrimony Traditionelle.
