The big man himself just loved Patek Philippe.....
Oct 22, 2019,14:28 PM
He may have been a billionaire.....
He may have revolutionised the Thai beer industry......
He may have had a good life......
But the 1 thing he loved most was PATEK PHILIPPE.
He was a very nice guy (I breifly met him over 15 years ago).
Just a love for all things Patek Philippe.
What a wonderful life.

I love when you post pictures of your father, CBB
By: ChristianDK : October 11th, 2019-03:09
it is easy to sense that he had true passion. My favorite picture is the last of them, where he is pointing at his watch, in front of the open Leica catalogue. He seems to me, to have been a remarkable person
🤗👍

What a great post...
By: holdemchamp1225 : October 12th, 2019-15:55
it is always such a pleasure reading one of your posts, especially if it contains some photos or anecdotal stories of your father. It just makes things more personal and sentimental. Thanks again for sharing.
Thank you

It means a lot as I really want people to know that he was person of real watch passions
And that passion was
By: Wristenthusiast : October 14th, 2019-12:37
Clearly passed down to you and it looks like you are nurturing it in your children. That is wonderful. But also wonderful that you share these experiences and pictures. Your family’s journey with Patek is a rare one. You have hands on experience through o...

Are we impressed by the watches or the cost?
By: Mostel : October 16th, 2019-16:55
My question is, do you LIKE his watches? I do not. I understand they were outrageously expensive. But do you like them? Does this aspect matter to you? I am not trying to 'hijack' the thread but... can we be candid? Do we have to automatically love this m...
Actually I do like the watches.
By: Wristenthusiast : October 16th, 2019-17:05
Sometimes watches are more artistic endeavors. These particular watches, as I may be falsely understanding, are meant to showcase multiple areas of craftsmanship that all reside under the house of Patek. The design intent is showcase, not daily beater. Ca...

appreciated
I’m not trying to brag
By: cbb in honor of Chamnong Bhirombhakdi : October 16th, 2019-21:56
I simply want to show a man’s ( my late father ) true passion and not collecting watches for profit like so many people do now. He genuinely appreciate the artesian, the craftsmanship of time pieces. It’s HIS hobby and he did within his own means and his ...
No question, CBB

I would guess that you are one of two out of seven having both these references (you and the Patek museum) 👏😋 but maybe I’m wrong.
Maybe 1 of 7?

I figured, anyone who is lucky enough to own the GMC is a true Patek fan and hence, would most probably own the 6002 too 💖
It definitely shows passion 👏👌

This means a lot to me that you really understand my reason for the posts! Thank you
My pleasure. I merely put into words that which to me seems so obvious.
By: patekova : October 22nd, 2019-07:10
Many of the most exotic and complicated Pateks that you post, rarely if ever, see the light of day. Often they are never seen in person or even in print - at best they are images in a catalogue. So to see photos of therm in the real and being enjoyed is a...
Any great time pieces
By: cbb in honor of Chamnong Bhirombhakdi : October 22nd, 2019-10:10
To me, are to be worn & enjoy and not to be saved in banks or vaults not to be seen.
+1 😁 [nt]
