BMW E30 320 or 325i BMW

E36 320 or 325/328i
Peugeot 205 GTI Peugeot 309 GTI or 405 MI16
Mercedes W123 230E or 280E (or CE)
Mercedes W201 190E
Volvo 850 5 cylinder non turbo
Audi 90 or 100 2.2 or 2.3 E (yes the five pot)

So far for the oldies smile

If he has to drive it on a daily base he'd better go for something more recent like:

Renaultsport Clio 3 RS (yes, like mine)
Renault 3 Clio GT 128hp
Renault Twingo RS 1,6 128 hp ... as cool as it gets !
BMW E46
Ford Fiesta ST, probably around 10K
Fiat 500, Abarth?
Jaguar X-type 2,5 or 3,0 V6
BMW 120i (+/-2008)
Renault Laguna Coupé (maybe)
Suzuki Swift Sport 1,6i
Fiat Panda 100hp (very cool car, i love it).
VW Golf 5 GTI !!!!!!!!!
Subaru Impreza 2.0i R 150hp +/- 2008
Mazda MX-5 NB or NC
VW Scirocco
VW EOS
Alfa Romeo Giulietta
Mini
Nissan Cube (if he likes quirky designs)
Hyundai Veloster
Citroen C4 CACTUS 1.2 smile smile smile
Asking price of 9000 for a 2008 Audi A4 1,8 TFSI .....

There's a lot for the money.

My conclusion ... for 8K i'd go and find a decent Clio ... RS or even a Dci ....

Bim, prejudiced Renault idiot ;-)

But my best friend received a brand new Bertone X1/9 1,5 with 85 hp when he was 19. So we often switched cars when we drove to school ... no need to tell you we obliged to the traffic rules ...
