Funny, my local boutique proudly asked me to expect a similar range (2x current pricing) a few months back.

The Duometre in steel and platinum

Platinum one with salmon dial and it would be moonphase with monopusher chronograph .

The new $$ per jewel pricing strategy :-)))

And if they follow their Richemont sister brands it may get worse… after it gets worse, with organs per jewel service costs.

ha that would be welcome!

Never thought about a Duometre because I know it is too large for me at the current size

An amazing piece of kit but….

I would be worried that anyone except JLC would be able to service it in 20-30 years. And JLC and monopoly pricing don’t go well. When I had vintage JLC the bi annual upkeep was an absolute killer. That’s what pushed me ultimately to sell my London Editio...

Biannual - twice a year

Seems excessive. Even every other year seems a lot for a modern watch. I have service both JLC and VC... the VC is more. Love the tradionelle though!

Both Patek and JLC don't sell parts...

so if you want good service, they will be the only way to go. Part of the reason is that they both save tools to ensure future servicing. If you want the best, you let the best take care of their products and not some watchmaker that has never worked on s...

Finally!

It's weird to see the movement with a rhodium finish instead of the classic maillechort Now imagine a steel duometre, or even better... a titanium one. That would be incredible.

Well…

Duomètre A Quantième lunaire - 600.3.24. S (Q6043570 Duomètre A Chronograph - 600 3 28 S (Q6013470) Past, présent and maybe... future... But the future raises questions : Will JLC do in the end, what they had planned for years: just adding something to th...

Max one arm.

By: patrick_y : February 15th, 2024-17:19
At maximum, it can only cost 1 arm, since they need you to have another arm to wear the watch! But it can cost 2 legs!

A Duometre is a piece of HH art

By: Alfihar : February 20th, 2024-05:01
That’s why a screw cost 1800€… with a pouch offered, not a silicone one but a travel pouch even if the Duo was not an UTT 😂😂😂

As far as I’m concerned while the Reverso is the iconic model followed closely by the Memovox the Duometre line should be top of the brand.

Having a few they are beautifully constructed and finished. They function spot on. I have been looking pleading with the powers that be in JLC to continue to create new models not just different versions of the same models. The duometre concept is perfect...
