Basking in the Sun

By: flamenco : September 27th, 2012-10:16
Where I live, the warmth and sun is common sight. Will be moving to the north real soon as work takes me ... Mid autumn and winter upon us, it suddenly dawned upon me .... now I take every opportunity to bask in the sun. Where I go ... so does my wrist (n...

By: nilomis : September 27th, 2012-11:20
Our spring started but it looks like winter (not really, around 10C/50F) but the sun didn't last more than few seconds. Here is the new toy: A friend/seller dropped this one. Took some pics and love it. Now is mine. A free drink if someone guesses what is...

Curious as to why . . .

By: Dr No : September 27th, 2012-15:56
. . . the seconds subdial has an arc of red from 40 to 60, Nilo. Not a clue as to the wrench - bottle opener, perhaps?

About the 40-60 ...

By: nilomis : September 27th, 2012-17:12
I don't have a clue. About the bottle opener ... Yes! It's one bottle opener with the shape of the Concorde (not showing on the pic) and is from Air France. I got this one on a frea market and is great to position a watch for pics. Your mind reading abili...

I think the red is related to this...

By: jporos : September 29th, 2012-12:50
Porsche 911 gauges, although the red on the Grantour serves no purpose whatsoever. Purely aesthetic. ...

Nilo! Fantastic!

By: jporos : September 28th, 2012-07:41
I hope you enjoy your Grantour as much as I enjoy mine. I see you have the white dial, which is just beautiful! HAGWE my friend! ...

It's a cool and undervalued watch ...

By: nilomis : September 28th, 2012-07:53
That's only for the connoisseurs. A wonderful weekend to you (and all) and thanks for the good influence, Nilo

By: Hororgasm : September 27th, 2012-12:40
Gently in the sun we held our hands, Thinking each other is God-send. Reassurances whispered in the warmth, each to be repeated during any storm. best, Horo ...

Great romantic limerick Horo....

By: dreamer8 : September 27th, 2012-18:00
that pair of hands are not bad either, and Oh, so are the watches , what a matching pair. Cheers, dreamer

Perfect matching!

By: Mark in Paris : September 29th, 2012-07:58
I can imagine the brainstorming to decide what pair you'll wear :p I really like the HM3 Horo, original, futuristic and highlevel timepiece, bravo. Cheers, Mark

Glad you like them Mark

By: Hororgasm : September 29th, 2012-14:36
I am quite anal about matching timepieces, either thematically or brand or material. the HM3, remains a firm favorite. actually, its the Machine that i wear most frequently. cheers, Horo

The new iPhone 5 camera is rocking my wristshot world. Completely unretouched shot from 5 minutes ago! ...

Thanks my good Sir!

By: fernando : September 28th, 2012-01:15
I chose the watch and not the brand per se. A bit of an anomaly with the brand in that it smaller, thinner, lighter and has a nice manual wind calibre. Like it is made-to-order for me ( or a woman :)) HAGWE :) fernando

I agree.

By: . Anders : September 30th, 2012-00:49
It is an amazing fine island and villages Fira and Oia are beautiful

This defines a "wrist shot".

By: nilomis : September 28th, 2012-03:32
Perfect: 1) The shot (focus, light etc.) 2) The watch and strap 3) The wrist 4) The clothes Cheers, Nilo

i just love the white dial expl II Drew.

By: G99 : October 1st, 2012-10:09
Personally i think that all the explorer II's should have white dials. It makes it far more readable. Best. G

I don't know if the reflection of the clouds is for something

By: Mark in Paris : September 29th, 2012-08:08
but together with the indexes' style, the dial seems incredibly smooth and aerial. Congratulations again P@trice. Cheers, Mark

Yes we do.

thanks Bill!

By: MattS : September 29th, 2012-23:53
Brittany is nice but most of the times, rain isn't very far!...Different from California! As you may see from the rain drop on the plexi it was slightly raining when I took the picture! Best. Matt

That's a lovely shot of the Monaco, flamenco; a watch which we overlook at our peril. Here is a watch that has also been sadly overlooked and had very little wrist time until today: in fact, why is it that we don't have a ML forum???? Or Journe??? Cheers,...

I love so much seeing your EWC pictures, Respo.

By: amanico : September 30th, 2012-01:44

Long time we didn't see a Senator Navigator, by the way! Nice choice! Best, Nicolas

Very improbable thing

By: anaesdoc : September 29th, 2012-01:53
that on this largest island of the world with only 56.749 inhabitants (wikipedia :-)) someone should own a GO Senator and even post it on this site! Thanks for making the unlikely happen! anaesdoc
