Zenith

Hello all, This is my first message on this forum, so please excuse my possible errors. I have a passion for Zenith watches and own three of them: a YG ChronoMaster El Primero with moonphase (ref. 30.0243.410), a YG ChronoMaster Elite manual power reserve...

And I would appreciate some insight on a question: my YG Chronomaster has a tan aftermarket strap that doesn't complement the watch very well. Can you suggest a suitable strap (leather, color, stitching and finish). I have to say that where I'm living the... 

30.0243.410 is white faced, I will put a plain veal berenia black strap. The dial is already complicated that a strap should just play a strap work / background. Cheers, Nilo

I suppose you are talking about this kind of leather. This is what was on my mind also but I'm not sure about the color... as previously mentioned I would try burgundy. ...  

. . . skin; the leather I'm recommending is ostrich shin , which has sections with small irregular scales, and also sections with practically no scales at all. The strap on my Omega is like the former, and Matt's JLC, the latter. For your Zenith, I think ...

The strap is gorgeous, and the colour looks "special"! I'll try to find something similar... Art, sorry for the confusion: shin and skin (the words, not the material) look quite similar ;)

. . . ostrich shin is comparatively rare, and not many are aware of it. You might have trouble finding one ready made, though . . . a custom strap maker might be your only source.
