I have a confession to make ...
I never read any watch magazine.
In fact, after the Internet I don't see if any magazine makes sense.
Before the Internet, I was an avid reader of many magazines but now is more easy to read on a tablet.
The Internet provides us with more fresh information than any magazine can provide.
I feel sorry about the end of the magazine era. I still have, someday my wife will donate, a huge collection of many computer magazines (PC Magazine, Byte, Dr. Dobbs and others) because I work in this area.
About the doublematic being selected as watch of the year, no surprises there. It's a very nice and elegant piece.

Exactly....though mine is the black dial with brown strap. I think both the black and white dials are classics. classics that still look good now as when they were made. However, I do prefer that this watch remains relatively unknown to the general public...
