Zenith

Hi there Zenith fans...does anybody else here think that the Zenith Chronomaster 410z or T without the open dial should be re-issued or revived? I, for one , think it's one timeless classic from Zenith and so many people who have seen it also like it for ...  

They may increase, just a little bit, the case diameter but is hard to change ... perfection. I'm a very active "flipper" but this one is forever: And the movement is also perfect: We should start a movement to motivate Zenith to produce a set of re-editi...  

Nilomis Yup!!! you got my vote on that! we should petition and email zenith (which I already did) - though I doubt they will read it hehehe but I truly think it is the model that can connect zenith to its roots....much like JLC's reverso classic...despite...

that's a year 2000 model if I am not mistaken , correct? :) look at it now - 12 yrs after, still beautiful as the day it came out :) I bet 10 years down the road, it will still be beautiful ....as the zenith ad said 'beautiful it is, beautiful it will rem... 

I never understood why they discontinued this watch, it's one of the most gorgeous watches I know ...

Glad you also share my views on the Chronomaster 410z ...my personal opinion is that it is much more a classic and would appeal to a larger audience than the Chronomaster Open they continue to produce now. Somehow this model strikes a very nice balance. S... 

and I can only agree with you wholeheartedly. These are sadly under-recognised watches. Not only an in-house calibre, but one of the great chronograph movements, with the bonus of the triple date and moon phase. Aesthetically, can I speak in favour of the...  

A great definition for the Chronomaster 410Z. Beautiful in white or in black. Congratulations. Now you need to source a 20mm strap for it. Cheers, Nilo

so, I put on an 18mm that I had lying around, pending arrival of the strap (it is being sent separately by the auction house), or purchase of a new one (if it doesn't make it through Australian customs, being made from an endangered species). Apologies fo... 

Exactly....though mine is the black dial with brown strap. I think both the black and white dials are classics. classics that still look good now as when they were made. However, I do prefer that this watch remains relatively unknown to the general public... 

On one side I want more persons experiencing the joy of a Chronomaster but my evil side wants this closed "club". Big question. Cheers Nilo

I wouldn't call it "evil" LOL. It's more of the love for the brand that makes us keep it a guarded secret because we don't want it going the way of some brands that have become fads - for people who don't care about horology at all - but just for the blin... 

It's sad to see "some brands" being converted into fads but I handle this as a fact of life. Let's cross our fingers that Zenith does not goes into the "limited edition" route that "some brands" went. So far, Zenith has been really modest and I hope that ...

I never read any watch magazine. In fact, after the Internet I don't see if any magazine makes sense. Before the Internet, I was an avid reader of many magazines but now is more easy to read on a tablet. The Internet provides us with more fresh informatio...

I never understood why they dropped the watch that saved the company a few years back. I had both the silver dialed Chronomaster T and this Chronomaster GT which is still one of my favorites. I'm sure if you look up the definition of "Moonphase Chronomete...  

Agreed...if you search the different fora in different countries you would discover that many are actually looking for the classic Chronomaster T and GT. such a waste that Dufour decided to phase out these classics . cross
