Gold....
Yes, the gold will always be special to me. Extremely heavy, yes, but as with most things, after a while, you tend not to notice. I prefer also the gold hands. Many here like white metals, but I have always preferred rose gold for the warmth. On this watch, it really works, on others, like a Laurent Ferrier, white gold or platinum looks much better. Are you considering to get both?

The downside of this watch is that it does attract alot of attention. I see eyes popping on the street, in cafes, even in a Patek AD, staff would huddle around wanting to handle the watch. It is really weird.
I know someone who did even worse!
Or better, who knows? Well, this is not exactly the same watch, as the metal of the case changes. And your preception of the watch a bit, also. Therefore, I know many Vintage rolex guys ( including myself ) who buy 2 or more of the same watches. Aniother...

Actually, yours is Titanium and not SS. They made them in Titanium due to the large size, and SS would have been too heavy. The 48mm GMTs are SS. The Titanium versions are quite hard to find now, but there are quite a few golds on the market. I have been ...
